MythiCube Network: Official Rules

General Info

As we all know, humans aren’t perfect…and because of that, it’s not possible for us to list every way someone could violate the intent of the rules seen here. We ask that you practice common sense in place of. Our staff are highly experienced and all punishments and warnings are given at staff discretion.

You are solely responsible for your Minecraft account’s security. Do not share your account details with anyone. Keep your passwords secure and do not give them to anyone. Our Staff will NEVER ask for your Login Information.

If you feel that a Staff Member has abused their permissions, please send your report with explicit details, screenshots, videos, or any additional evidence to abuse@mythicube.com. This email is only used to report Staff Misconduct, and will not be checked for Appealing of Punishments.

To appeal a punishment (without accusations and unnecessary toxicity), you may create a Punishment Appeal in our Discord Channel. Please ensure that your DMs are open so that our Support Bot may assist you. The Bot will walk you through step-by-step on how to successfully submit the appeal.

Private Messages & Group Chats

Our staff generally do not interfere with “voluntary” chats such as friend messages, team chat, squad chat, etc. It is left to the team/chat leader to monitor the group rules. That being said, this does not mean that group chats are beyond punishment. Admins may authorize punishing based on the information found in these chats on a case-by-case basis. Malicious Violations and Misconduct are always punishable.

ALT Limits

We put these limits into place for many reasons. In most of our game modes and worlds, players are restricted to 10 accounts per realm at a time. Typically this situation would involve the “Main” account and 9 alternate accounts. Should we host any special events such as a Festival, the ALT limit may vary and will be announced in accordance with the event(s).

ALTs are typically used to help AFK Mob Grinders or Farms to generate passive income for players, as these only generate when a chunk is loaded and actively stood in. ALTs are a great way to load multiple chunks and keep the income sources running.

Evasions

Evasion of restrictions on your account, such as mutes or bans, are not allowed. The severity of the punishment will depend on the severity of the initial offense. General guidelines for evasion punishments are:

  • Evasion without additional rule violations is typically punished for the next offense on the original punishment path.
  • Evasion with additional Minor or Moderate rule violations typically follows the original punishment offense.
  • Evasion with Major rule violations is typically punished on the Particularly Toxic Player punishment path.
  • Evasions with additional cheating violations are punished on the Particularly Toxic Player path or Malcious ToS path, depending on their past history of cheating and evading.
  • Evasions of permanent punishments punished as Malicious ToS violations.

Minor Violations

  • Spam/Chat Flood (Repetitive Similar Messages or Using Multiple Messages instead of One Full Sentence)
  • Chat Trolling (Character Drag, Keyboard Smash Jibberish, Encouraging Spam, Command Spam, Begging)
  • Custom Font (Insinuates a Hacked Client Installed)
  • Excessive Use of Foreign Languages in Public Chat
  • Soft Advertising (For Example: “I’ll be on LameMC” OR “This reminds me of RedpixelMC”)
  • Excessive Swearing (enforced by chat filter)
  • CAPsing (enforced by chat filter)
  • Nickname Formatting (enforced by chat filter)

Typical Punishment Regimen: Mute: 30m > 1h > 3h > 8h > 1d > 3d > 7d > 30d > 90d

Moderate Violations

  • Disrespect (Insults, Harassments, Bullying of Other Players or Staff)
  • Inappropriate Chat (Drugs, Illegal Activities, Suicide or Self-Harm, Breaking Server Rules, Sexual Misconduct, Partial Links to Porn Sites)
  • Physical Trolling (Using Grappling Hooks, Fishing Rods, Doors, Minecarts, Etc. to Troll Players)
  • Staff Interference (Accusations of Cheating, Calling Out Vanished Staff, Event Interfering, and Other Destructive/Distractive Behaviors during Staff Duties)
  • Impersonation (Pretending to be another player, staff member, or console.)
  • Rude Builds (Any builds considered offensive, inappropriate, hateful, or overly sexual.)

Moderate Punishment Regimen: Mute: 1h > 3h > 8h > 1d > 3d > 7d > 30d > 90d > 180d (repeat)

Major Violations

  • Hate Speech
  • Flame Wars
  • Inflammatory Statements
  • Disrupting Chat
  • Harassment
  • Border Claiming

Illicit, Malicious, Exploitive, or Cheat Violations

  • Malicious Hacking and/or Benefiting/Assisting Hacking
  • Dishonesty, Griefing, Stealing (Theft/Insiding), Scamming, Illegal PvP, Major Abuse
  • Illegal Macros & Scripts, Illegal Teaming
  • Claiming to Cheat
  • Abuse of In-Game Events/Bugs/Features
  • Auction House Abuse, Inappropriate IGN/Skins
  • Causing Lag, DDOSing, DOXXing
  • Falsifying Evidence, Group Spam, Player Request

Major Punishment Regimen: Ban: Variable upon Severity of Offense
