By joining MythiCube, you agree to abide by both our Network and Server-Specific Rules and Regulations.
For most violations, players will receive a warning before a serious punishment is dealt. However, advertising, serious threats, and other specific violations may result in an immediate ban with no warning.
In all cases, the issuing of warnings, bans, or mutes is up to the staff’s discretion.
Please remember, this is a community where everyone is welcomed. We’re just doing our best to keep it safe.
-
As a general rule of thumb, our staff do not moderate “voluntary” chats. These include friend messages, team or party chats, etc. We leave this part of moderating in the hands of the team or chat leader to ensure that the group is following the rules. However, this does not mean group chats are beyond punishments. Admins retain the ability to punish those involved in these chats based on the information reported. This is done on a case-by-case basis. Violations that are malicious and/or severe misconduct are always punishable.
Private Messaging is rarely punished unless reported to our staff with viable evidence. If the recipient of said /msg, /r, /tell, etc. reports the sender for rule violations, they may be punished.
-
Any attempts to evade a staff-mandated punishment on your account, such as mutes or bans, is strictly prohibited. The severity of your punishment will entirely depend on the severity of the initial offense. Here are some general guidelines for evasive punishments:
- Evasions done that do not result in additional rule violations after the original punishment is generally punished one level above the originally stated restriction.
- Evasions with additional minor/moderate rule violations generally follow the original punishment given.
- Evasions with Major rule violations are punished with increasing the original punishment duration by 2x.
- If you are evading a permanent punishment, such as a perma-mute and/or perma-ban, your punishment will be risen to a non-appealable state and the duration of your ban will continue to be lifetime.
-
Minor violations are generally those that are more of an annoyance to others than a true issue. Some examples include:
- Spamming
- Chat Trolling
- Custom Fonts
- Excessive Use of Foreign Languages in Public Chat
- Soft Advertising
- Excessive Swearing
- Abuse of CAPSLOCK
- Nickname Formatting
Typical Minor Punishment Process:
- /warn > 30m > 1h > 3h > 8h > 1d > 3d > 1mo > 3mo (repeat)
- Verbal warnings and /warn are a courtesy and are given based off of staff discretion.
- Staff may choose to use an accelerated punishment regimen if a player quickly violates rules yet again after their original punishment expires.
Appeals for Minor Violation punishments are only accepted or reduced if the punishment was made in error. Appeals are only processed if the punishment you’ve received has a duration over 24 hours.
-
Moderate Violations tend to cause hostility in chat or make other players uncomfortable. These offenses result in longer mutes and at a much faster pace. At times, moderate offenses may be deemed major based on their severity. For example, disrespect or inappropriate chatting may be escalated as harassment if a staff decides. Some examples of Moderate Violations include:
- Disrespect
- Inappropriate Chat
- Physical Trolling
- Interfering with Staff
- Impersonation of Staff/Others
- Rude Building
Typical Moderate Punishment Process:
- /warn > 3h > 1d > 1w > 1mo > 3mo > 6mo (repeat)
- Verbal warnings and /warn are a courtesy and are given based off of staff discretion.
- Staff may choose to use an accelerated punishment regimen if a player quickly violates rules yet again after their original punishment expires.
Appeals for Moderate Violation punishments are only accepted or reduced if the punishment was made in error and has a duration of 3 months or less. Appeals for valid 6-month punishments may be reduced after a 3-month duration and submitting an approved appeal.
-
Major Violations are considered extremely disruptive, divisive, malicious and violate community standards. Staff are not required to give warnings before punishing users for Major Violations. Some examples of major offenses can include:
- Hate Speech
- Flame Wars
- Shock Statements
- Disrupting Chat
- Harassment
- Border Claiming
Typical Minor Punishment Process:
- Chat Offense: 3h > 1d > 1w > 1m > 1y (repeat)
- Non-Chat Offense: 1d > 1w > 1mo > 1y (repeat)
- Verbal warnings and /warn are a courtesy and are given based off of staff discretion. Hate Speech punishments are given without warning.
- Staff may choose to use an accelerated punishment regimen if a player quickly violates rules yet again after their original punishment expires.
Appeals for Minor Violation punishments are only accepted or reduced if the punishment was made in error with a duration of 1 Month or less. If you are serving a 1-year duration punishment sentence, you may submit an appeal after 6 months.
-
These violations pertain to the activities that happen between two players and revolving around ongoing bickering, drama, bullying, and harassment. These are the most disruptive conflicts that may arise between players.
These offenses generally take place over public chat, private chat, messages, shouts, or other communication means in MythiCube. At the staff’s discretion, conversations taking place outside of MythiCube’s jurisdiction may be used as evidence (this includes via Discord , Text, Call, or other Social Media avenues).
Typical punishment regimens include mutes or bans with durations of 1d > 1w > 1y > perm. Appeals for said offenses will only be accepted or reduced if our staff feels that the individuals involved have matured and can continue being peacefully mythical.
-
It’s not uncommon for individuals to simply join a server just to stir up trouble…this one’s for you. Some offenses in this category include:
- Excessive Toxicity
- Hard Advertising
- Evasion & Mass Rulebreaking
Typical punishments for this kind of player are very strict. Durations start at 1 year and quickly advance to permanent. The severity of the punishment ranges from a mute to a ban, depending on the content, context, and heinousness of the action. Any violations that cannot be punished by a mute require a ban.
Appeals for said offenses will only be accepted or reduced if our staff feels that the individuals involved have matured and can continue being peacefully mythical.
-
Malicious or Illicit Violations are intended to threaten, trigger, intimidate, harass, or coerce players into doing things that make them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. They include things such as:
- Malicious Advertising & Statements
- Misconduct
- Spam Botting
- Malicious Abuse
- Breaking ToS
- Sexual Harassment
- Retaliation
- Public Allegations
- Doxxing & Use of Real-Life Information for Personal Gain
- Grooming
- Sextortion
- Predatory Behaviors
These punishments are non-appealable. If our staff deemed your actions as one of these…you’re not welcomed here. Simple as that.
-
Cheating, Modding, and Use of Illegal Mod Violations include, but are not limited to macros, keybinds, scripts, boosting, and ALT abuse. Our staff are not expected to distinguish the difference between a hack, script, macro, or keybind when banning people. Punishments generally depend on the advantages given to the individual using them rather than the method being used. For example, the use of X-Ray vision scripts would result in a ban for hacking. Scripts that automatically sell your inventory for you while you’re away from the keyboard would receive a macro ban.
Players who willingly and knowingly assist or benefit from cheaters will also be punished as if they are cheating themselves. Assisting cheaters can include providing ALTs, gear, or other forms of support.
Warnings are not given for Cheating Bans. The typical duration for these violations are 1d > 1w > 1y (repeat).
Appeals may be considered if the punishment handed to you was less than 1 year in duration, or was given in error. 1-year punishments may be reduced after serving 6 months of the punishment and then submitting an approved appeal.
-
These types of violations need a category of their own due to not fitting into any of the above mentioned, or having multiple possible punishment regimens. Some examples of these cases include:
- Auction House (AH) Abuse
- Intentionally Causing Lag
- Falsifying Evidence
- Group Spam
- Inappropriate Names, Towns, Nations, or Skins
- Player Request

- TOWNY

We like a good sense of economy here at MythiCube! So we’ve added a server-wide shop, accessible by typing /shop anywhere! Here you’ll find tons of categories filled with the most important items to Minecraft.
But…to buy things, you need to make money, too! So you can sell in the shop as well. Here are some of our tips for making MythBucks to spend:
- Spawners – Spawners are are sure-fire way of making money fast. You can utilize a series of hoppers to fill chests with the loot mobs drop by creating spawner farms!
- Psst…We have auto-sell chests and chunk collectors available at https://store.mythicube.com/ or in-game using Mythrils in the MythicShop! These turn your AFK Spawner Farms into a streamlined money-making machine!
- Farming – Some players really love a good farm setup! We’ve made it profitable for you to sell crops back to the shop. Consider using redstone to make automatic harvesting setups, and also make sure you use your Skills to auto-plant with a hoe!
- Chat Games – We have periodic chat games going on where you can make 1000 MythBucks by being the first to type the correct answer!
- MythicPass – To encourage players to stick around for the long haul, we’ve given everyone a default access to /mp or /mythicpass which, as you complete the quests it shows, allows you to earn MythBucks, Mythrils, and Crate Keys!
- Fishing – You can fish up rare fishies and sell them to /fshop for extra cash!
Mythrils
Mythrils are our paid currency. These can be bought on our Store, Earned from MythicPasses, and from occasional Giveaways in the Discord. Mythrils can be used in the Mythic Shop to buy special items, ranks, crate keys, flytime, and more!
- No Griefing, Scamming, Trolling, or Theft.
– Destruction of blocks or theft of items within towns/plots are strictly prohibited. Nation and Town Owners must give users a 48-hour notice before clearing or removing plots.
– Players who are being removed from a town or nation must be given a 7-Day Notice. You can do so by sending /mail. If the player does not respond after 7 days, the items may be taken by the owner of the town and their plots may be cleared.
– You may not excessively terraform or destroy map terrain by flooding, burning, placing random blocks, mass deforestation, or by digging large holes unless the area is claimed.
– If you are looting a ruined town or nation, you are only permitted to break blocks of value (ore blocks, beacons, spawners, crops, and containers).
-Any trapping/trolling within claims that have the intention to harm and/or kill other players outside of a siege are not allowed.
– Examples Include: Town Spawns without a safe entry or exit, Large holes created to trap and kill players, or trapping players inside of their claims and continuously combatting them so they are unable to leave.
– Scamming other players of MythBucks, Items, Mythrils, or Services is not allowed. This includes naming items improperly or by not paying a user the originally agreed upon amount for an item/service. - Siege Wars are allowed, but also have their limitations for the best of everyone’s experience!
– If your town wishes to be peaceful and neutral permantly, please make sure to toggle it using /siegewar town togglepeaceful! It takes 24 hours to initiate from the time this command is ran. Should you want to join in on the wars again, simply type this again and after 24 hours, you will be deemed nonpeaceful and can be a target or instigator of Siege Wars!
– Please remember that these wars are all for fun…make sure that you aren’t trolling, griefing, or intentionally ruining the experience for others. If you are caught exploiting the system and/or using loopholes to engage in siege-related activities while not marked hostile, you may be punished.
